• عمر لیزر دیودی بین ۱۵۰۰۰ تا ۵۰ هزار ساعت است ولی در مقابل عمر تیوب لیزر ‏co۲ کمتر از ۱۰۰۰۰ ساعت است
• در صورت خرابی ماژول لیزر دیودی امکان تعمیر آن با هزینه کم وجود دارد در صورتی که ماژول لیزر co۲ پس از خرابی باید دور انداخته شود
